This lightest-weight version of our classic 2 or 3-person tapered tunnel tent uses 30 denier, high-tenacity ripstop polyester with a silicone elastomer face coating. Water-repellency, snow shedding and UV resistance are greatly enhanced. Nothing has been lost in this scaling-down of our acclaimed First Arrow design. The Second Arrow is a high-tech, compact, 2-person, double-skinned expedition tent for ultra-lightweight travel in snow, across exposed country and in severe weather. It's excellent flow-through ventilation also makes it perfect for summer and tropical use. It is also a perfect solution for solo travellers looking for a roomier tent with 5-season performance. This tent is now only available with our high-tech outer tent skin fabric: 30 denier, high-tenacity ripstop polyester with silicone elastomer face treatment. Taller users will appreciate the increase given to the height of the front pole arc in early 2010.

High-altitude base camp tents must not only resist fierce winds, they must be able to support substantial snow loads, provide working and living room in lock-down weather and cope with increased UV bombardment. The Cirque starts with the proven core-framework design for such conditions: the 4-pole vee and cross combination - hub designs just don’t put enough tube ends down to the ground. By adding further pole arcs over the two entrances and over the built-in, double-entranced vestibule we have created a tent with romp-home performance. The specification is completed with our legendary attention to detail. At well under 5 kilograms the Cirque will also interest families and 3 or 4-packs of mates not deterred by and requiring shelter from ‘full conditions’.
